Sky Hearts

This was a piece that I had started several weeks ago, but I only made it to finishing the outlines. Because school and other life things had gotten in the way, it got pushed aside and I wasn't going to come back to it.

But, after having the pissiest last few days that I've had in months (woopwoop PMS ), I was given a little bit of a buttkick to finish it.

This is also one of the few drawings in my gallery that have been done 100% digitally. And, aside from all the flaws and wonky things, I'm pretty happy with it because going from sketch to outline to full color with nothing but a mouse (and a ball mouse at that, I don't even have a fancy laser mouse) can be... trying, to say the least.

Background is a stock from . All I did was overlay a soft yellow layer and changed the hue just slightly.

I hope it puts a smile on 's face. The poor boy has dealt with a lot, from school to dealing with Sybil all this past week to family problems. We don't just get the short end of the stick, sometimes we get smacked in the face with it.
